We watch lines, not people. Here's exactly what we do with data.
Our cameras observe queue lengths in public spaces. We do not perform facial recognition or track individuals. Camera feeds are processed to generate line counts, which are stored along with periodic snapshots. We also generate daily timelapse videos from captured frames.
If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address or phone number, and optionally your name. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard encryption and are never stored in plaintext.
We use an analytics service to understand how people use the site — which pages are visited, which features are used, and how the experience can be improved. For signed-in users, analytics data may be associated with your user ID.
When you view a camera feed, we collect session data including your IP address, browser and operating system information, device type, screen dimensions, timezone, and referrer. We use your IP address to determine your approximate location (country, region, city).
We use the information we collect to provide and maintain our services, authenticate users, and improve the user experience. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Camera data is used to calculate queue lengths, generate historical charts, produce daily timelapses, and trigger user-configured alerts. Line counts, snapshots, aggregated statistics, and timelapse exports are retained to provide historical views of queue activity.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data with third-party service providers who help operate the platform, including providers for authentication, analytics, email delivery, SMS delivery, and cloud storage. Each provider is subject to their own privacy policies and our contractual obligations.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
We use cookies for authentication and session management. Our analytics service also sets cookies to measure site usage. Local storage is used for authentication tokens and to remember your suggestion votes. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing pixels.
We rely on third-party providers for specific functions: an authentication provider manages your account credentials and sign-in; an analytics service collects usage data; email and SMS delivery services send alert notifications; and a cloud storage provider hosts media files such as snapshots and timelapses.
Each service processes only the data necessary for its function. We do not permit these providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
All data transmitted to and from our services is encrypted using TLS. Authentication services are provided by SOC 2 compliant vendors. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
Account information is retained while your account is active. Session data is automatically deleted after 30 days. Line counts, aggregated statistics, snapshots, and timelapse exports are retained indefinitely to provide historical data. Alert history is retained for the life of your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may use our services without creating an account. To exercise your rights or request a copy of your data, contact us using the information below.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
